Radiant Skin

The skin is the largest organ in the body. It is our filter, our shield and it is often the most neglected organ of the body. Bombarded by sun and often covered in toxic chemicals, the skin literally drinks in all of the damage we do to it. Everything we put on our skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream within 26 seconds. Think about that… What have you put into your blood today?

If we start early, through proper care, the use of non-toxic products and healthy sun exposure, we can support the skin’s natural resiliency. This will slow down the rate of cellular deterioration, boost collagen and elastin and help our skin look younger longer. It will also help it to provide critical detoxification processes to our radiant body. Skin care, along with healthful eating is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves.

Over the course of my years as a practicing aesthetician, I have used many skin care treatments and products. I choose to only work with organic ingredients and have primarily committed myself to one particular line that I find has not only great product, but ethical and green practices.  I consistently see amazing results with the Eminence Organics line and I feel confident that I am providing the safest and healthiest service to my clients possible.

So where do we start?

On the most basic level, I believe that a good, exfoliating facial is a must at least once a month. This consists of deep cleansing to remove accumulated dirt, oil and debris. Then a gentle exfoliation and extraction to further clear the pores, slough off the dead outer layer of skin cells to allow for better product penetration. Finally we apply a masque to feed the skin what it needs to bring up its natural glow. Gentle massage releases muscular tension to help relax and retrain the face.

On a deeper level, we can incorporate Hungarian Face Lift Massage which deeply increases circulation and stimulates collagen. Firm pressure and manipulation retrains the muscles so that they  lift and smooth, releasing lines and wrinkles.
